So I've been slowly making my way through Phoenix Wright 3 for the past two weeks, and this game has been a delight in more ways than I can count. :D

Wow.

Definitely the best episode this season... possibly the best episode since The Storm, even, although skipping the entirety of season 2 is probably unforgivable and I'm no doubt forgetting a lot of the contenders. (I need to watch the whole series over again to refresh my memory.)

But man. Wow.

Of course NF would drop off the face of existence just when I'm finishing up my first actual on-time Naruwards update in like a week. XD

And now I'm really bored. =/ Anyone know any good memes/quizzes/other things of the useless time-wasting variety? So long as they're not productive, I'm all ears.

1. ( Tonight, on a very special episode of Avatar... )

2. I watched the first episode of the Death Note dub with trepidation, but I was pleasantly surprised. Something about Light's voice really put me off in the trailer, but he sounded much better in the actual show. (Well, except for his crazyvoice, which still mehs me for some reason, but other than that I have no beef.) And I had no problems with the rest of the dub. It's also been a while since I first watched DN, and I was reminded yet again of how awesome the first half of it is. God, it kicks so much ass. I am more than willing to pretend the second half never happened, really. :P

3. In Rainbows is so, so good. I am in love with it. I downloaded it a week late, but I've listened to it almost nonstop since so that makes up for it. And this isn't really relevant to anything, but on the other hand it is, because it's Radiohead. Oh Radiohead. <3<3<3

4. It's awesome that Dumbles is gay, but less awesome that I've seen some people at sites like Mugglenet react by saying that it's ruined the series for them, and it's unnecessary and oh JKR think of the children, and blah blah blah. Dumbledore as a character is absolutely no different than he was before Rowling revealed that. If something as inconsequential as this could ruin the character for them, let alone the series, they've really got issues.

On the other hand, it's nice to see so many people reacting to it positively as well. Gives me some hope. :)

5. I have to admit that as anxious as I am to get back to Sasuke and the others, the Jiraiya battle has been really cool so far (especially as Pein keeps getting more and more interesting). Which only further encourages my theory that this whole thing is the best damn arc ever.

6. Furthermore, One Piece (yay Shichibukai, and yay awesome OP crew vs. Oz battle), Bleach (I like Nell, leave me alone), and Inuyasha (which lately has been nonstop win) have all been highly entertaining recently as well. Which, basically, makes me a happy shounen fangirl.

Overall, life is good.

1. Heroes was awesome (Sharingan! Nightmare Man! Sylar meets Wonder Twins!); I've been meaning to post a brief rant on just how awesome and why, but if I still haven't gotten around to it, it means it's not gonna happen, so suffice to say that it was awesome.

My brother's all excited because Veronica Mars is joining the cast next week. XD

Writing meme, snagged from a_white_rain. Er, not sure how many of my flist have actually read any of my fics, so if that doesn't work, feel free to apply it to my general writing style (essays, posts, etc.) instead? I'm just curious in general, really.

What do you think are the "trademarks" of the fiction that I write? What type of themes or characterization notes or quirks keep on manifesting in my writing? Essentially, what do you think is a stereotypically "Spectrum" way of writing fic?

So I was updating Brothers of the Leaf today (by which I mean I'm still in the process), which is always interesting because it means hunting through the vast archives of FanFiction.Net in search of Sasuke/Naruto fics that are actually in character. Now, at the time of this writing, there are currently 101,369 fics in the Naruto category at ff.net.

There are 87 in the C2. Ahaha.

For those playing the home game, that means BotL houses approximately one out of every 1,165 Naruto fics on the site. But what that really means is I have to wade through that many fics just to find a single believable NaruSasu.
